Blogs have come a long way from when they were just written by bored office workers who though ham and cheese blogs (‘this is what I have for lunch today…) were interesting. Fortunately, blogs have become an important, and credible, business tool, but you’re still not convinced your website needs one are you?
Well, ignoring the fact that you’re reading this blog and it is quite obviously effective, think about the times when you have brainstormed with your staff about what your customers really want. You’ve wondered how they really use your product and what they like and don’t like about it.
Rather than going to the trouble and expense of sending out flyers or questionnaires, set up a blog on your website where you and your staff can show your customers your brainstorming patterns and your customers can jump in when they have an idea or they think you’re going in the wrong direction.
